Global semiconductor equipment order statistics show orders for the third quarter of 2016 were $11.3 billion, down 5% from the previous quarter, but up 30% from the same period last year. 

 

The international semiconductor industry association (SEMI) released The latest global semiconductor Equipment Market statistics report (The Equipment Market Data Subscription, EMDS), in The third quarter of 2016 semiconductor Equipment delivery of $11 billion, up 5% compared with last season and and compared with The same period last year growth of 14%. 

 

SEMI and the Semiconductor Equipment Association of Japan (SEAJ) provide the basis for the report based on the monthly report provided by the world‘s 95 Equipment manufacturers.
